About the 2026 Summit

Three Days of Precision Operations in Melbourne

The 2026 Annual Retreat represents KFE's most ambitious summit to date. With all three divisions represented — Klinko HQ, Klinko West, and the Seedhom Alliance — the event delivers a full programme of strategic activities, culinary experiences, and at minimum one situation requiring rapid task force deployment.

The Grand Dinner at The Langham Melbourne marks the centrepiece of the summit. Formal attire is optional. Looking magnificent, however, is strongly encouraged.

2025

Annual Corporate Retreat & Alignment Summit

Sydney, New South Wales — 2 Nights, 3 Days

Inaugural Sydney operation. Notable outcomes: the rooftop incident (still not fully explained), record attendance from Seedhom Ventures, and a farewell breakfast that set the bacon benchmark for subsequent years. Rating: exceptional.

2024

Strategic Alignment & Cultural Enrichment Summit

Gold Coast, Queensland — 3 Nights, 4 Days

Extended format summit featuring the inaugural Escape Room Invitational. Taskforce Bravo achieved its first completion. Taskforce Alpha maintains that the clock was running slow and has formally contested the time. Dispute ongoing.

2023

Annual Corporate Retreat

Brisbane, Queensland — 2 Nights, 3 Days

The year Ember Klinko was introduced to the Charm Offensive Unit. Her onboarding performance exceeded all projections. Also notable: the first formal appearance of the KFE Grand Dinner as a summit tradition.

2022

Post-Hiatus Reunification Summit

Melbourne, Victoria — 1 Night, 2 Days

The first summit following a two-year operational pause. Shortened format, elevated emotion. All divisions in attendance. The Board of Directors issued a commendation. CEO Matthew Klinko declared it "worth the wait."

2019

Annual Corporate Retreat & Strategic Alignment Summit

Melbourne, Victoria — 2 Nights, 3 Days

The last pre-hiatus summit. Widely regarded as a high-water mark for the KFE format. The Grand Dinner was described in the official record as "transcendent." It remains the yardstick by which all subsequent events are measured.
